I decided to make the characters of my NaNoWriMo novella (because 50,000 words is a novella) into Sims.
This entry has huge pictures so I'm going to put them under a cut.
And write a little more so that the pictures aren't off-centered by my userpic. XD
Mary Thompson
Mary is an aspiring ballerina who has been taking dance lessons since she could walk. Described as pretty though rather plain, Mary's success in the world of dance comes from her hard work and resolute ambition to dance for the Boston Ballet company. Suddenly Mary's life is thrown for a loop when she is evicted from her apartment for prioritizing her ballet lesson fees over rent and is forced to move in with her high school friend Sage Öberg. Mary has loved Sage almost as long as she's known him, but has only admired him quietly and never pursued him. Her feelings become apparent to Sage's jealous girlfriend Priscilla, and a plot unfolds, trapping Mary in her own private version of Hell while she is forced to choose between continuing to love Sage or following her dream. For Mary, who is divided passionately between her two greatest desires, the choice is not easy.
Sage Öberg
Sage's family moved to the United States from Sweden when he was six years old. Unnervingly brilliant, Sage can speak eloquently on everything from Shakespeare to the World Wars, Latin, and calculus. But even though he is gifted with incredible mental prowess, Sage has incredibly poor social skills and tucks himself away with his textbooks. He tries to answer questions using reason that can only be answered with the heart. In college Sage meets Priscilla Allison, the daughter of rich French Canadian parents. Priscilla is just as intelligent as Sage, but she is even more resourceful, cunning, and jealous, using him to prove herself an intellectual and more than just the heiress of great fortune. Sage enjoys a friendship with Mary that has a natural flow and ease; Sage teaches her how obscure mathematical formulas can be used in real life and she (tries) to teach him to let loose and enjoy himself.
Priscilla Allison
Priscilla, a highly intelligent and ruthless young woman, has spent all her life trying to persuade her peers that she is more than just a simple-minded, wealthy girl. She says she has little time for love and feelings, but she has genuine feelings for Sage, despite the fact that her intentions with him are not always so kind. After Mary moves in with Priscilla and Sage, Priscilla quickly realizes that Mary is in love with him and becomes exceedingly jealous of Mary. Considering Mary more beautiful than herself, Priscilla allows her hostilities to get the better of Mary. A war in Mary's heart between dance and Sage erupts, and Priscilla sees this doing of hers as an opportunity to "help" Mary become a dancer in order to get her out of the picture. Clouded by her own desire to succeed and inability to surrender to love, however, Priscilla does not anticipate the possibility of Mary choosing Sage over dancing - even if she can never have him.
