Persepolis is a coming of age story, of Marjan Satrapi, an Iranian woman who had to leave her country because of the war and politics/culture change that occurred after the fall of the Shah regime. I've only read the first one, and I thought that it was drawn by a kid back then ^^; But yeah, the art style grew on me :) Have you read the Embroidery comic also done by her? That one is funny, in an adult themed way :D

I like the comic of 'Persepolis', but I don't really like the book after that... or was it the second book?

Would the second comic be Embroidery? That one is a bit... out of there, I think ^^. I actually haven't seen the second book of Persepolis being translated. Actually, now I can't find the first translated Persepolis in Gramedia either. Sold out?

Iya, kayaknya buku keduanya itu belum pernah lihat, gue juga ngebaca scanan aja. Ngomong-ngomong mana tuh ya CD berisi scan... *Celingak-celinguk*
