arrozconpollo introduced me to Pablo Neruda a few years ago. Or was it last year? Anyway, while I thought his writings were pretty, I didn't really 'get' it. Yesterday I was at the office and 'Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair' was lying around, so I picked it up and read. I leafed through the pages, and of course it had to be 'Tonight I Can Write' that

'Tonight I can write' is one of my favorite poems.

My other favorite is 'Sonnet 17' --
