If I had to pick the single defining moment in Guy's life during the run of Robin Hood... it's this. As a mun, I hate what the writers did here (as does ladyofknighton mun), because it destroyed in two minutes what was built up over two years. But... it's still what they chose to go with.

Considering how much Marian led him on all through the two seasons, he had changed, for her. Become a better man, all in an effort to win her heart. Okay, so his love may have bordered on the obsessive at times, but it made sense to him.

Then Marian broke a trained killer's heart. He blanked, and tipped over the edge. At least that's my interpretation.
