I'm still semi-new to the fandom, in that I've been keeping an eye on Clois for the last few years on YouTube, but not actually been watching the full show really at all (which explains why I have no Clois userpics, which I really need to remedy ASAP). Having said that, really from Committed onwards I've been getting gradually more sucked in, to the point where by the time season 9 started airing with some of the most amazing Clois scenes so far, I'd read a bunch of spoilers for Crossfire and was counting down the days until it aired. The kiss itself - when I finally got to watch it, given that I'm in the UK - was a total sucker punch to the gut.

I was expecting the shock tactics given the pics I'd seen - what I wasn't expecting (and totally LOVED) was for the kiss to quickly evolve from "shut up" to "OK, make out with me now kplzthx" ... holy mama

Clois is more than awesome this season but whole season 8 and now season 9 were Clois-ish and this kiss was so awesome,beyond expectations!
They make me wanna squee all day long!
Really,I want my life back too but I love Clois too much to stop watching them LOL

Ok, I think I got it out of my system. But seriously. I completely agree with voicelikehoney. This is the first incarnation of CK/LL that goes back to "childhood" in a sense. They were both still young when they met and watching this friendship/relationship grow over the past 6 years to finally culminate in this searing hot kiss is seriously just making my heart flutter just thinking about it. The way these two used to/still antagonize each other to the way they fight FOR each other...you knew that nothing but passion could come from that kiss because they've had it all along. Talk about sublimation.

And the kiss was SO COMPLETELY IN PUBLIC! Clark has NEVER been that bold with any of his other "love interests" to just lay one on them and then MAKE OUT with her in PUBLIC. Think I've used enough caps? I DIDN'T THINK SO EITHER *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

Clois is definitely the best couple ever,with all ups and downs,with all that banter with all that 'I don't like you' and we have them now - kissing! REALLY KISSING! Our happiness can't be any bigger. Seriously.

And that was soooooo in public! That facts makes me wanna squee even more! Though I think Clark didn't see anyone else there but Lois and all he was thinking was - now or never! *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

YESYESYES! That is what makes this all so goddamned wonderful, and that is what makes my heart skip a beat watching that kiss ... you're not just watching a very sexy kiss (which, come on, it totally is) - you're watching 6 years of history and slow-burning attraction. That kiss absolutely screams tenderness, love and affection - besides the more obvious omgIWANTYOU thing going on.

The Clark/Maxima kiss in "Instinct" was hawt. This is satisfying on so many more levels than that - even though we don't have shirts being ripped open or thighs being grabbed, or people being slammed against walls, this kiss is 100 times sexier than that little encounter was.

Ofc, when Lois and Clark do decide to get down with it, my computer screen may fry - raw sexual attraction AND deep deep love? Turn me over, I'm done. >_<

And yeah, I'm loving the whole "in public" thing too ... Clark's new boldness and knowing what he wants without giving a damn who sees it is one tremendous turn-on. *fans self*
