I don't enjoy celebrating a bullshit holiday. I remember when I was in preschool, my class dressed like the pilgrims, and this other class dressed like the Indians. Our classes met, socialized, and munched on snacks. It wasn't until years later that I realized what really happened.

Nonetheless, happy Thanksgiving, and gobble gobble.

I believe I am the only teenage girl that does not enjoy faddish book series.

Today went extremely well. Third Thursday was very fun, and I got to meet some really nice people. There was a pony and a goat too. I helped sign people up to win a free turkey, and I got to talk on the radio for a moment. Haha..I'm excited about next months. Well I applied at Papa's Pizzeria, the one down the street from me, and they gave me a job that day. I'm supposed to start sometime next week. It's perfect because I'll only be working 3 days a week, and for the first few weeks I'll only work a few hours a day. I also went and talked to Sandra at KIVA yesterday. Brittany is coming back from Amarillo tonight, thank god! She's bringing her twin brother home with her, and I can't wait to meet him. We're going to pick up my last paycheck from Santa Fe and hopefully doing something fun; I really need to get out of the house for a change ( Read more... )

So, I haven't had a job since October 31st, and since then I've been ditched more than twice. Needless to say, I think people in my town suck, and I'm guessing they think the same about me....so I've done nothing but sit at home.......
