I think I can safely say that I love to cook. Today, Ashley and I weren't feeling well and she suggested getting some soup for dinner. I immediately went for my cookbooks to find a decent soup to make instead. I'm not a huge fan of canned soups, mainly because I just don't think they taste as good as homemade stuff ( Read more... )

mmmm...homemade soup. Nothin' like it.

I can definitely see how cooking could be considered a hobby rather than simply necessity. Cooking gets expensive!

I'm hoping to see Scott Pilgrim this week. Cheaper on weekdays, plus I heard it did not do so well so I hope to see it while it's still on the big screen.

Homemade soup is definitely good. I plan to make that recipe a lot more since it was easy. And the cooking does get really expensive, since I like to try new things (last night was sort of a Thai stir-fried shrimp and that involved a lot of new ingredients).

Weekdays would have been a good idea. The theater I went to charged $10 ticket and I still have trouble getting past that. It was an interesting movie, so I'd recommend it overall.
