hey so last night was awesome. we headed out to belgrave (the little india of leicester) and they switched on all the lights for diwali (the festival of lights). the entire street, which extends for a couple of miles, was covered in lights. it was so beautiful! they set off fireworks and everything. the best part was watching the hare krishna's ( Read more... )

so yesterday me and asa took a day trip into london. it was beautiful! we were probably the dorkiest tourists you ever did see. we left around 7am to catch the train (45 minute walk from our dorm!) and got to london around 9 or 10ish. from there we purchased our big bus tour ticket, an open top double decker! you could get off and on wherever ( Read more... )

so i finally read the first harry potter. it BLEW! jesus, it took me like 2 weeks to read it cause it was so boring (i started and finished another book during the harry potter course).

what is wrong with you people?

so amsterdam-ROCKIN'! quite the beautiful city indeed. the worst part of the trip was probably travelling, we went by train, and then bus. no wait, first we walked 45 minutes to the train station, rode the train for an hour, then waited 4 hours for the bus, and then went 11 hours on a bus. then we just hung out, ahem partook in some of the " ( Read more... )
