Brooklyn College-area hotels

Hi all. My Mom is coming for a visit at the end of the month and I'm trying to help her find a hotel. I'm living near Brooklyn College and she was hoping to stay somewhere closeby. I've googled, but the closest thing I came up with was the HoJo's on Utica, which doesn't strike me as a great place to stay

there are several B&Bs in the ditmas park area, which is really really nice and prob not too far from you. I'd suggest looking thru those. I don't have any websites, but I know I've seen them.

There is http://www.goldengateinnny.com/. It's a bit far, but from what I've heard, it's a good hotel.
