yea right on mike. i conpletly agree, i said many times in that convo that i wasnt doubting his beliefs that i jus didint believe. but he kept on insisting, oh well. it was a great convo though. one of the more intellectual convo's ive had.

I'm Catholic. It blows. I hate church. But perhaps it's only that tendency to hate whatever your parents are into, as my mom is uber-Catholic. ...There are some ways of interpreting the bible that actually make SENSE, believe it or not... But I still don't agree with the way it's practiced.

yea i was raised a catholic as well, and i dread it. like for one thing i was forced to go to church every sunday, now that i am old enough to make my own decisions i dotn go any more because it is super boring. like the catholic church is liek a cult, chanting, and unison, and nothing cn be out of order, so boring and not interesting. and i feel as though if u are going to have a religion make it so that people are interested on what is being said. but no matter if it was interesting or not i still thinks its all bull crap.

Maurice, I've had a very similar talk as you did with a very close friend. You tell one person you're athiest and every agressive Christian jumps down your throat "please just come to our youth group and we will tell you all the reasons you're wrong". And Mr. I'm not a hypocrite I've changed my ways IS A HYPOCRITE because he was asking you to be tolerant, open minded, and understanding of his faith so maybe you would change you mind, HOWEVER he was not giving you the same curteosy. You're too patient, lol, with people like that you just have to be like "please if you're not going to treat me with the same respect I treat you about your beliefs go away".

lol, yea i was only patient cuz i actually wanted to see where the conversation would lead, but he kept saying how jesus is the way and what not. kinda like every other religion pusher in the world lol. oh well. from summer college u know that religion is one of my favorite topics to talk about, cuz i get so passionate about it. lol.
