Basically, I was hoping to have amassed dozens of dollars by now, with which to have done something fun that would allow me to cause others to do things that I want and stuff. But instead, the vortex of debt and rising prices has sucked away all of my mind control experimentation earmarks

Yes, surely by now I would have also acquired dozens of hot n'fresh pretzels for my personal pleasure. Legions of followers would come to my door bearing offerings of hot cheese sauce for my supreme right of dipping. We shall live in the sticky steamy shadow of dread if these things shall not come to pass.
Yet, I still bide my time. The pretzel fortune shall be mine!
