I happen to be one of those terribly unoriginal people, who love to make icons but get far too frustrated with Photoshop to create anything that no one else has done before. Instead, my technique is to find a bunch of tutorials that I like, and mix them up. :D

Hey, I don't have Photoshop, but this thing call Serif DrawPlus, and think I can 'translate' your tutorial into my program. I think it's great!
