Anyone who ate at the Doubletree here in San Jose during FC may want to look at their credit card statement. Two days ago I got charged for a meal that I didn't have there.

It says the charge was done on 2/16 and cleared on 2/18.

Grr. Please don't make me redo my card number again...

If it were only me that had the issue, I could see it as someone stole my card. But at least one other person said they had a charge, and that their friend also had a charge... so not isolated.

Suckage.

Do watch it. This affected me as well, and a friend of mine from Canada, and now Brophey makes three that I'm personally aware of.

I wondered about that myself on my statements but the reverse. I ate three times but only got charged for the room afterwards, I haven't seen any charge yet for "The big meal" that I had. So I'm wondering bout that.

Yeah, I got smacked for $19 on a credit card I only used to hold the room.
I never used it in the restaurant.
