Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Souji is actually pretty tall, being the second tallest of the group in Inaba. He's fairly thin-looking, but has lean muscle when you actually see him without a shirt. So tall and kind of thin, but not unhealthily so.

2. How old is he?
17/18 years old.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He carries himself pretty well. Doesn't really slouch but walks upright. Not in a tense manner, he just prefers standing up straight and keeping his head raised to take in his surroundings.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's fit, and healthy. No particular illnesses. His immune system is pretty good.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Fluid and graceful from all the running around and fighting he's done. His moves when relaxed are slow-paced, but he can't really be described as clumsy at all.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Attractive. He has a charm to him, and a uniqueness considering his silver gray hair and equally striking silver gray eyes. As for how he perceives himself in the mirror, he figures he's pretty okay looking, and does the usual to maintain it, but it's not a central focus in his life or anything.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Pale, and clear. No particular scars that need mentioning.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Silver gray and very fine, but he has a lot of hair. It's silky to the touch. Just has it in a bowlcut and lets it do its own thing for the most part. The fringe is pretty thick too and falls down to cover his eyebrows.

9. What color are his eyes?
Silver gray.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
His hair and eyes are probably the most noticeable ones.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
Back to the shoulders.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Casual stylish. Dark colors for fall and winter, and lighter neutrals for spring and summer usually.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Yep. Besides his school uniform which is mandatory, he doesn't like stuffy clothes at all, so he only wears clothing he feels comfortable in and that are easy to move around in without getting in the way or requiring too much of a fuss to maintain.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Yes. Only time he changes his outfit is when going to school as his school requires a school uniform.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxer Briefs.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Quiet, and even. More masculine than feminine, and comfortable to listen to.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Soft, but evenly so it's easy to follow what he's saying. He talks pretty easily, but will sometimes hesitate or at least take a while to reply.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He speaks Japanese fluently, without an accent. His English and Korean have slight accents to them, but not enough to hinder him from being understood.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese, which is his native language. He also speaks English and Korean. More fluent in English than Korean, though he's not bad with it either.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Unless he happens to meet someone who only speaks English or Korean? No.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Depends entirely upon the situation. Around friends he'll just say whatever falls into his mind, even to the point of being random, but around adults or if he needs to make a speech or something, he'll generally think about what he's going to say. Also, when he lies about something he becomes hesitant and fumbles with his words; he's a very bad liar.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Eloquent. Words come to him very easily. He prefers not saying much, liking to listen to others more than he likes speaking, but should the situation require it, he has no problem with upping the ante from his normal short, straight to the point sort of pattern to a more wordy one.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Smart. He grasps concepts quickly, memorizes easily, and is also good at thinking up a plan in situations he may not have been prepared for, so he's a good mix of both.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Again, it depends entirely upon the situation. In serious situations he'll think on his feet and move from instincts, but in less tense situations, he might use a bit too much time to deliberate. For example if he's asked about things that he can't actually give a straight answer to, he'll hesitate and take too long and fumble with finding the right words on top of that; so again, he's a pretty shitty liar- Unless it's keeping someone else's secrets. Then he'll just shut his mouth. So all in all, a little bit of both.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Intuitive, but practical more than idealistic.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Just about done with high school.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Translation work, cooking, cleaning, school work, fighting. He's pretty good at whatever he puts any effort into really and most things come extremely easy to him. As for what he would like to learn more about, probably how to better use a sword and also more languages.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
A little bit of both. He's pretty good at keeping himself occupied when alone, but for the most part he thrives when around people. He genuinely likes being with others, listening to them and talking to them and doesn't particularly enjoy being left alone for longer periods of time even if he knows to keep himself busy when he is. He won't admit it, but those times when he has nothing but himself and the sound of his own breathing are some of his loneliest and he just doesn't feel too well if he stays all alone. He just likes people, even if he doesn't always say much.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Even-tempered like fuck. He's laid-back when you talk to him, calm and has a pokerface that rivals even the best of them. This isn't to say he's depressed or anything, he'll crack a smile around friends, he'll joke around or lose his composure, but for the most part he's calm and relaxed.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Relaxed and open-minded. Enthusiastic at the idea of becoming friends with someone new. Rarely ever suspicious of anyone, though he should probably learn to be a bit more suspicious of people.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React and then act. He's a-ok with doing both.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
For the most part, fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He has a pretty good one, I'd say. Doesn't mind mature jokes, but can also appreciate a good pun, deadpan humor or a good prank. He seems to like American jokes, or just tales of epic fail in general, like most teenage boys do.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Nope. He does have kind of a self-sacrificial streak to him, and a bit of an issue with being an over-achiever, but that's about it. Also, he doesn't really take direct compliments very well as he's not used to them. He's kind of used to being an over-achiever and the go-to guy for everything, but being complimented on this will probably not sink in and if it does, he'll become kind of uncertain of what to do and try to brush it off.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Coming to Inaba and being thrown head first into a murder mystery and gaining his Personae. Before that time, he was a lot more negative, but coming to Inaba gave him his friends, a family that's always there unlike his flighty parents and the murder mystery, the TV World, gave him a purpose in life and a new goal and new and better values, so even if the case itself was horrible, he does like the strength it has given him and the courage to reach out to the truth, and to other people, even if his stay in some places may be short.

14. What does he fear?
Losing his friends and family. Loss is something he doesn't deal with well. He'll be calm and collected if something does happen, but beneath his pokerfaced mask? He'll be extremely distraught. It just takes a bit to coax that out of him, and the fear of losing someone close to him is also one of the only things that will make him lash out if provoked enough.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He hopes to be a good support to those around him and to stay connected to his friends and family always. Also, always having the courage to look at the truth and the whole picture as it is, rather than sugarcoating things.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That he actually does get lonely. He likes being seen as strong, and being a rock for others. Even if he doesn't have someone like that for himself.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
His relationship with them is okay, maybe a bit lukewarm. They're not a close-knit family or anything, but he loves them just the same, even if they're kind of distant. He feels as if they were closer when he was younger and then they kind of grew distant as he grew older and more self-sufficient, but yeah, he loves them a lot and wouldn't trade them for the world. They did help shape him into who he is after all and have always presented him with both a good life and a good education, so it's not like he's ever been all that neglected, as he's always had everything he needs thanks to them. It's just that they consider their work important, and he understands it, even if he wishes they were sometimes less flighty and more happy with just staying in one place rather than moving around all the time. He just wants to be able to stay in one place for more than a year without moving and not having to disconnect with the world in order to not get hurt by always being separated from the people he comes to care for.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
N/A.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
None that he can't stand, but he is very very close to his uncle and cousin in Inaba. His uncle is more like a very much older brother to him and even with his disciplinary role during Souji's year in Inaba, they were still extremely close to the point where his uncle even opened up about his feelings to Souji (even if Souji really didn't do the same). Of course Souji will say that calling him a brother is pushing it, but he honestly does feel that way. Same with Nanako, she's not his younger cousin to him, she's his beloved younger sister that he would gladly give his life to protect as she's so precious to him, so important to him that he has difficulties putting it into words. He's probably closer to the two of them than he is to his parents, despite only being with them for a year.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
All of his friends are extremely important to him. They're part of his extended family in one way or another, though he wouldn't call them his siblings or anything. They are just as important to him as his family though.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Yosuke. They met when Souji moved to Inaba and first really came in contact with each other when Souji helped Yosuke out of a trash can. They started off kind of at a weird note, but over the year, Yosuke became a source of both friendliness and support for Souji, their bond tightly knit as time moved on. While he is close to the others too, Yosuke is just special, to the point where they had to brawl it out to stand on equal ground. Teddie is another of his best friends too, though in an entirely different way. Both of them are very important to him.

6. Does he have other close friends?
The investigation team. Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, Rise, Naoto... They're all very very close to him, important to him, more so than his other friends from school, though they all rank up there as the most important people in his life.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He makes friends extremely easy and enjoys doing so. He gets along with most people really well.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
He's unbiased. They're both as important to him.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single, though he's had a few girlfriends before.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
No.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
He doesn't really do crushes. If he falls for someone it's because he knows them.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
A good heart. It doesn't matter if said heart is hidden behind a rough attitude or anything, or clouded by other things. As long as they have a moral compass and a good head on their shoulders too and an ability to be both serious and silly at times, they're eligible to be someone he can fall for. Appearance doesn't really matter all that much to him.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
N/A. He hasn't really thought about it either.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Not really.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Pansexual. He doesn't really care too much about gender, who he clicks with is a lot more important to him. Guy, girl, trans, maybe not even 100% human... As long as they're nice and interesting, he's good with it.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
It's not all that important to him. It's something he's curious about, like most people his age, but not something he focuses on too much.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Though it's not really known to him just yet, praise effects him in ways that will make him hot under the collar... Just generally being told he's doing good will probably have him reacting more than usual. Turn-offs though are definitely force or just anything masochistic or sadistic in general. No really weird bedroom habits.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Unknown. I prefer to imagine him as a Capricorn as he sort of fits that type best, but considering how it's said his birthday was sometime during the actual game itself rather than before he arrived in Inaba, I'd guess sometime during the spring or early in the summer. Possibly mid-May, which would make him a Gemini. He fits that type to a point in that he's sociable, free-thinking, and at ease in social situations, though much of it doesn't fit him at all, such as shallowness and slyness. But I'd say it's about a 50/50 fit.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Religion is not all that important to him. He does believe in some things, but he's more agnostic than straight out religious or spiritual. He'll pray at shrines, get charms sometimes, that sort of thing, but it's more tradition than actual belief. He does know there are gods out there though and things than cannot be explained, but the unexplainable things are just that and the gods are not necessarily ones he wishes to believe in.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
He does have a moral compass? About the same as everyone else, like not hurting people and definitely not killing people, trying to be good and not sacrificing others for his own personal gain. Doesn't even like to lie.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He's tolerant, curious and questioning, though if they're beliefs that include the harm of innocent people then he has an issue with it.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
None, really. Bad people can be that way out of necessity, good people can do bad things, bad people can do good things. He believes everyone can redeem themselves and the world is not just black and white, but also the shades of gray in between.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Comfortable.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Fairly ok? Leader of his group, which was a big change for him, but he's really young still, so.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Apartment with his parents, house with his uncle and cousin. The apartment is more just a place he crashes at the end of the day, but the house in Inaba is a proper and welcoming home he enjoys to spend time in.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Weapons, armor, medicines and snacks.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He translates, works part-time as a janitor at the hospital, folds envelopes, works as a tutor, a day-care assistant and does charity work on the side. Folding envelopes is more just for money, but the other jobs he actually likes quite a bit.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He plays basketball, likes music and TV like most teens, reads a lot and likes to fold origami cranes for charity and also enjoys hanging out with friends and just chilling and kicking back.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He eats what he needs, generally healthy, doesn't skip out on his meals. He doesn't drink, but eats out every now and then with friends. He's not particularly picky and will eat his vegetables and all.
