I seriously intended to go see my friend Cate this week, while she was in Wichita. I was even off work on Sunday and Tuesday, like I said. Would've got to meet her husband, finally. That drama really blows! For sure, definitely! Need to kick the worthless roomie out first though so we have a spare room for you to stay in. :) Sleeping on the couch just wouldn't be right...

We're going back down for Thanksgiving, but are only going to be there for a few days so....definitely make plans some time. :)

If my other plans work out, I should be able to manage to sneak up your way before Thanksgiving. But if I don't, that's a good option too.

The situation has grown still more complex since then. It's weird. He's not taking my advice at all in the situation, but he seems to be relatively happy with the way it's turning out. The great thing, though, is that he's back to the way he was before. He's not a whiny bitch any more, like he has been for the past couple years. He's him again. I've got my friend back.
