Seriously, WTF? The chick still acts like she wants me, is interested in me, etc, and yet she moves through a full engagement cycle with some other dude in a couple months. This, while saying that what she needs is a guy like me, not a guy like him. Wow. And she wonders why I don't want to date her.

clearly she was just buttering you up. obviously she didn't deserve you in the first place. you deserve better than that. you're a smart, strong, caring individual and it's not fair that people take that for granted. let her be doomed in her engagement. dude will prolly cheat on her anyway.

Well, yeah. If I'd wanted her, all I needed to do is say so. She wanted me. It just amazes me that someone can go from starting to date someone to engaged in about three months, while actually being more interested in someone else. Sooner or later, I'm going to have to explain to her why I'm not interested, and the fact that she's the kind of person to do that pretty well sums it up.
