It fits quite exceedingly with this little ordeal here.
And history repeating itself? Oh, yeah. I think that theory's already been proven... most people are just too stupid to realize and accept it. Or, better yet, to fix it.
But, yeah. Who's to say we're not just sheep for the wolf? Our shepard is the wolf, after all. And there's no actual lessons in how to use what we have to fight. Plus, they won't give us the things we do need to fight. I say it's pretty damn accurate indeed. Just a sacrifice for a false cause.
Our 'shepherd' is most likely more interested in self-entertainment than 'caring' for us. True this place is pleasant (although horribly lifeless within), it is not a fitting place for a war camp.
It is a relieving side to see another who does not see this place as some sort of vacation site.
Sometimes sacrifices are necessary...but I do not intend to be the one placed on the altar. Out of curiosity, what happened to the White Mantle after that?
Keep searching. We still have our wills, for now. That is a blessing you perhaps do not appreciate.
We overthrew them then killed their false gods, placing the rightful people in power.
My will is something I am thankful for every day, something which this oppressive place cannot control. Despite how it appears, I am searching for a means home. I do not like being controlled.
