To be truly honest I can not narrow it down that much, but I can give you a favorite author, I have only found one book of his to be less than stellar. and for a man who has put out what will shortly be his 38 books since the early nineties, I am impressed. I am talking about the one and only David Weber, primarily Sci-Fi author, but he has a wonderful Fantasy Trilogy with what may be one of the better world settings I have ever read. He is a man to watch for and there are no if ands or buts about it.

What is the Fantasy Trilogy? I will have to look for it. I don't recall seeing him before.

It is called the War God Series, it starts with "Oath of Swords" and keeps going with two others. Pick it up it is good you will read it and like it and you will read it or I will kill you and you will suffer greatly.

I would have to say Dante's Inferno on this one. I read very few books, and will continue to read very few, sadly. I have always wanted to read more, but just can't keep interest in that hobby. Dante's Inferno is my favorite in terms of its willingness to go above and beyond what was expected, or even accepted when it was written. On top of that, it has some amazing imagery which actually got me into the book from time to time. For those of you who know me, this is a very rare thing...

I wish I had more literature I've read to choose from, but there is very little. I felt I would wow my friends and post something related to literature and reading on here though...

I can actually and honestly say I have never read that book, but have always wanted to. That is one of those books that is on my list to read. Was never fortunate to have to read it in any of my classes. And due to time constraints books are usually only things I read on airplanes while travelling :(

But with all the traveling I have been doing recently, I am getting a lot of good books read.

Well since time is a fluid concept, I cant say these are my favorites of all time as that may, has, & will change over the years. Also pinpointing one book in the hundreds I have read would leave me hard pressed to put one authors works over anothers, so here's a list of my top 3 favorite authors by genre.

Sci-Fi / Fantasy:
Neal Stephenson
John Varley
Jim Butcher

Horror:
Clive Barker
Stephen King
Dean Koontz

Fiction:
Tim Dorsey
Clive Cussler
Dan Brown

There are so much more that I could and would list, but that can wait for another time for now these names should suffice.

BTW I'm adding you to my friends list.

Well I am glad to see you add me. I enjoy posts unfortunately i post less than Theo or Garret. LOL.

I defintely agree with your Horror. One of my favorite fantasy books is actually by Stephen King, I think it is called Dragon Tears or Eyes of the Dragon. Something to that effect. Very good, but he usually is.

I have added you as well.
