And it's amazing. I'm somewhat mystified by the sparseness of it, the mostly blank packaging, and the somber attitude of the piece. But the album seems to be one of his most poignant messages in his career, where he directly (or as direct as Beck gets) assesses the current situation of the world; the environment, the consumer culture, the world.
