Waffle Haiku

jhogan  and neurogirl  hosted a waffle extravaganza in San Francisco yesterday.  I was inspired to write some waffle haiku!

Fine ingredients
Oils, lipids, powders, and heat
The whole is greater

Surface area
Cradles butter and syrup
Corrugated joy

~

Yes! Carbohydrates
We have savory and sweet
You! Come and get it

~

Waffles have feelings
They stare through
