What's up with my foot.

So I had my follow-up with Matt Lauer (aka hunky foot doctor) today and together we arrived at some conclusions. He came to the conclusion that my foot is not broken after all and that I am suffering from Morton's neuroma, an inflamed and pinched nerve. Huh ( Read more... )

I have had cortisone shots in the soles of my feet. But because I was in such miserable pain to begin with the horrible pain of the shots was worth it. And I am sure I was supposed to make them sound not that bad but dammit they hurt! I hope you can get some relief. Foot pain sucks. It's not like you can avoid using your feet.

I'd really like to avoid the cortisone, especially since from what I read it doesn't really fix anything. It just relieves the pain for awhile. But mostly I want to avoid surgery for the completely silly reason that I have darn cute feet and I don't want a big ol scar on one!

Chronic conditions that may or may not resolve most well and truly bite. One so fundamental as this does so to an even greater degree.

I'm thinking multiple foot massage will help....perhaps massage of totally unrelated body parts may indirectly benefit ;)
