I'm sorry. But this is the greatest kid!fic series I've ever read. Ive been currently laughing my ass of at the antics of Syvek. He is so freaking adorable and cute. Amazing. I've never laughed this hard in a fic... Ever. <33

Thanks! Don't be sorry! I'm glad you think he's cute because I do too! I really hope he doesn't come across as a Mary Sue or Gary Stu or whatever other names there are for that kind of character. He's based on various kids at the daycare where I work, and I promise that those kids are NOT Mary Sues. At all. Ok, maybe sometimes!

He definitely doesn't come across as a Mary Sue character. He's so unique and awesome. I want a son like that. I honestly can't tell you enough how much I've laughed at this story and the prequels before it. It is like nothing I've ever read. And its so good!! Yeah, I felt bad for Jim, too. Especially considering how freaking awesome it must've been to wake up like that! But that's the kind of stuff that happens when you cater to your kid's every single tiny insignificant need. The moral of that story is that it's okay to let your kid cry once in a while. It's GOOD to let your kid cry. They get super irritating when they're spoiled. So take a damn shower! :)

I like the idea that Syvek is kind of a slow bloomer, like when Kirk freaked out that he wasn't rolling over yet at 3 months (which isn't that bad) in the first story. So he's a late bloomer, but when he picks something up, he runs with it. Like how quickly he learns to read in part three of this one (spoiler? nah), and how much his pronunciation improves over just a few months. Anyway...
