OK, so after I learned that Barty Crouch jr. had become Doctor Who, I the committed Potter head, turned to the path of Who-vian, that I  had mercilessly teased my DH about for years.  I enjoyed ridiculing the bad BBC special effects of the  1970's , but had to admit Tom Baker always kept me  very amused

I hate it when producers mangle my favourite tv shows/tv show couples. Never have been able to get into the whole Dr. Who thing - though I did get a huge giggle when I realized Braty (I meant to spell it that way) Crouch Jr. was now pretending to be Dr. Who instead of Mad Eye Moody... Talk about your surreal crossovers.... Being a Death Eater must not pay very well if you have to moonlight on a completely different show and on tv no less.

Ah well, enough of my nonsense! Have a marvelous Holiday and Buck Up! You can always see Rose/Billie Piper in re-runs!

I am totally in love/lust/obsessed with Dr Who myself.
You're watching on SciFi right? If you have BBCAmerica, it's on there as well (Tues and Sat nights). I taped last night's episode and haven't watched it yet, but read enough spoilers to get the basic idea (the commercials sent me running to the computer and British fansites). I loved Rose, but then I completely loved the Season 1 Doctor, and was mightily pissed when they swapped actors on me. But now I squee a bit over Tennant too (not more, but enough). So I'm thinking I can probably get over my Rose-grief after a couple of episodes of the next season.
