ALOHA!

I have some updates to do, but first I want to check in and post an entry about our trip to Kona. Call us crazy, but Jamie and I took a five-week old and 3-year old to Hawaii. I am so jealous! I am glad you had a good time. Taking 2 kids on a plane to Hawaii makes me think I can take my one to South Carolina in April. Can't wait to see more photos, I love your dress in #1.

No way! That's AWESOME. I've been mourning over the fact that we probably won't be going to Greece this year unless we hop on a plane a month after the baby is born. You're making me think "hmm, maaaaybe it's not so crazy". Of course, CA to HI is a lot shorter flight than CA to Greece...less time in the germy plane (which is the only thing that's making me doubt that we should).

I think you could totally do the flight to Greece! not sure how many hours that would be there but i am considering an 18hr flight to South Africa with a 5wk old come june!

No! Really?! My only concern is being subjected to recycled air for so long, with no where to run, when their immunity isn't built up yet. I guess, there are less illnesses going around in the summer though.

We'd be traveling with my daughter who will be about 19m. and a 1m. old baby...but if we go my mom would probably go with us, to help with my daughter. And once we're there, we have PLENTY of family to help with the kids. Plus, I figure the baby will be in a sling and probably will be sleeping and feeding most of the live-long day, so he won't be THAT much work. It's just that germy flight that makes me nervous.

Glad the trip was relaxing and that you were able to spend some quality time alone too! Gavin looks so mature.

Yeah for Kona and so glad you guys had a fantastic vacation! Yeah for the in-laws, it's always nice to have an extra set (or two) of hands on vacation! Love the pictures.
