*I just got a course grade corrected so now I meet all the requirements for graduation. I'm a bit concerned though because I got the impression from someone at WNEC that I would have to wait until August or September to receive my diploma. But, even if that is true, which I doubt, I think if I explained the situation to an employer they wouldn't

Would your graduation still count as a summer graduation? Or do they just go back, fix the grade and credit you as a May graduate, and take that long to create the diploma? Double check. I doubt it would create a situation with an employer, just put down on a resume your graduation date as August or September if that will be the case and explain that you have fulfilled the requirements already and therefore must post-date the resume. I think you would count as May though but that's my thought.
