I'm going to be selling an entire car axle on ebay. It's 49 inches by 9 inches by 13 inches and 80 lbs unboxed. Does anyone know a good way aside from UPS to ship big heavy things cheaply?

maybe you could sell it locally on craigslist and have the person come pick it up? that would be my best recommendation.

I can ship it, it would just cost $80(which the buyer would pay).

Unfortunately, the local craigslist audience is not wide enough.
