I don't think I've felt as awkward as I did today in a long time. I was so excited Brittany was coming to visit Boston. Who ever thought I would have a vistor? A familiar face? Then I don't hear from her. Wasn't she supposed to spend the night? I know she has other friends, and I've never been a part of that group because I never really fit in,

Yay for us kids whose parents come on times other than parents weekend . . . If you're feeling lonely, I'm still an orphan this weekend. I'm an orphan with lots of work to do, but still, call if you're bored.

Ohmigosh, I do NOT understand why there are parents in the dining halls. The entire point of parents weekend is for parents to come and take their children out to eat so they can have real food for once - so what the hell are they doing in the dining hall?? I don't get it.

By the way, if not having definite plans make you feel spontaneous, you should work on that. Spontaneity is fun. Do it more often. ;)
