Too bad all most local bands sound EXACTLY the same... you know, that Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace/normal-alternative sound.

They are either that or some attempt at Blink 182/Good Charlotte nu-punk thing.

Struck was the only local band out of Brownsburg that had anything going for them, and even then I didn't think they were so hot.

I guess it could be worse. They could be a free-stylin' white rap group.

... and local band names all sound so emo.

Brownsburg needs a place CLOSER than the Emerson to watch local bands.

actually, I did like some Acumen stuff I heard.

Hence why I crossed out ALL and replaced it with MOST.

I've heard stuff from local bands I like, but unfortunately that is in a vast minority.

And if there was a place like the Emerson that was closer, I may find local bands that I deem worthy of support.

I'm not an elitist asshole. I'm just picky. And just because I make a comment doesnt mean that I am saying anyone has to take it to heart. I just felt like voicing what I feel.
