I'm hiking 30 miles on the Long trail, going over 15 mountains.
I'm homesick for Earlham.
My glasses are crushed, so i'm blind far away.
I'm tired and stressed, but in a way refreshed.
I miss music.

if you leave farm and wilderness without an undying appreciation for "mid period" indigo girls and dar williams, i'll be shocked. i still have to steal my parents copy of mortal city whenever i think about it.
the long trail is one of the most beautiful and gratifying hikes i've ever done. when i was at saltash mountain we did it, like 75 percent of it, in 2 or 3 weeks. it was amazing. hope you like it.
