brian tried to revive and obviously dead baby baby baby bird today. he kept poking at it, then put it in a cupcake paper with paper towel bedding. it was kind of sweet, but pretty gross. i don't think he washed his hands after handling it either. and the water he touched while trying to feed it does not count

My old ipod did that a lot. I had to charge the heck out of it, but then it would only last a little while before going to a blank screen. On the sorta plus side, i could still play music on it; i just had to click through the playlists by memory. as soon as you get it working, back that sucker up!

i did back it up. some guy gave me a link to a free transfer program (everything else "free" only let you have a few transfers, then you have to pay). so now i have duplicates on everything that was in my iTunes library, but at least i've got everything!

today i used it on the speaker/dock and the screen wouldn't allow me to read the current song, the battery indicator couldn't make up it's mind (it should have shown that it was charging, and it was fully charged to start, but it would got from red to charging with everything in between), and it had a massive delay on giving me the menu screen to select. by the end of the day there was about 10 minutes intermission between songs. the decline during the day was considerable.
