um hi there. You have added me to your friends list and i have no clue why. We have no friends in common, or communities, so i'm just curious. you look a little bit familiar. Where do i know you from?

I don't think we've met.
Being fairly new to the area, I've been looking for some local LJs to read and keep up on. I found your journal based on your being (fairly) local and having some interests that overlapped mine. So, I decided to add you to my flist so I could read along.
If this bothers you, I will certainly remove you from my flist. No offense intended.

oh it's no problem at all. you'll most likely end up not reading my journal cus i tend to rant about tiny non-problems. But you are more than welcome to read. Althou you do still look really familiar. Have you spent any time in Bellingham, WA?

Hello. Found you through food_porn and couldn't stop laughing for several minutes at the title. Focaccio Fo'shizzle. It sorta found my funny bone, and I'm still kinda laughing.

Anyways, I'd like to be added to the Friends List.

Hi. I noticed you added me as a friend and I am glad to meet new folks though I just made my LJ friends only as well because I found I was being spied on by someone I have no interest in being friends with.
At any rate, I guess I was just checking if you found me on your own free will and if so, I am happy to add you. I see you cook a lot so I could stand to learn some tips.

Yep, I found you of my own free will. (As opposed to being coerced into finding you?) :-)

If I had to guess, I saw a post or comment you made on DamnPortlanders, and friended you from there.

A lot of my food posts end up in the food_porn community. That might be a place you would enjoy checking out.
