I just smoked my last cigarette. time check indicates 3:48am. rob said he is going to give some stuff to block the receptors in my brain to help me out with my quitting. making it over the 72 hour hump is the hardest. afterwards it should be easier. this will be the interesting since normally I piggyback quitting on being horridly sick ( Read more... )

Once the chemical habit is broken, you still have to contend with the mental habit. That's the only hard part after the stuff is out of your system. Just gotta find a good distraction and you're done. ^_^

yeah, I quit when I was in Scotland. 10 days of no smoking...and it didn't really bother me, either. It wasn't until I got home and got back into my normal schedule that I noticed and quickly went back to smoking. >.< For me, it's driving....I have to have SOMEthing to do with my hand...or something.
