The State Dept. Office of Medical Services has decided that I won’t be cleared to return to Jerusalem and will be assigned to somewhere the DC area. I’m not especially happy about it, but I really don’t get much say in it ( Read more... )

Just to let people not on Facebook know, I'm now out of the hospital and the State Dept. has moved me to a hotel where I get outpatient therapy. I see the surgeon again next week to decide what's next.

Back on May 8th, I was hit by a car while crossing the street. I broke my right leg in several places below the knee, cracked my pelvis and coccyx. I also totaled the car that hit me.

I had surgery on my leg in Jerusalem; a "nail" was inserted in my leg and after a week was transferred to DC, where I'm now doing rehab.

That's about it.

I guess that's about it unless you want to check FaceBook for pictures of Pixel's new house.
