She is Yumeka Sumomo. And her works are just wonderful. They have this type of quietly sweet type of art, and the ( Read more... )

Hmm, I know I read Dousaibou Seibutsu, and I also know I don't really remember it. ...I think this means re-read time...

ahuahauhauahuahauhauahu

I know it is like!

Sometimes you have already read something, and didn't give it much attention, but then you re-read it again, and it is a whole different feeling ˆˆ

I think my biggest problem is that I'll go on a spree and read like four or five new stories at once, and then I manage to mix them all up XD

Oh, Yumeka Sumomo! I haven't read much by her, but what I've read, I've liked :D However, to be honest even if I think the oneshots she has written are all very cute, I would have liked a more developed story. I mean, she write slice-of-life oneshots that are very... how can I say... "delicate"? But her oneshots aren't very impressive. Like praysolace, at first I couldn't remember Dousaibou Seibutsu. I knew I had read it, but I didn't remember what it was about. Every story I've read by her has the same "pattern". They look all alike. BUT, there was one I really liked ─ The Day I Become a Butterfly. Have you read it yet? I think that one shots is one of the few that stand out.

P.s. I haven't read all her works, so I can be wrong about she being a little flat with her stories.

No, I totally agree with you!
I read everything, and in a lot of them I would have that feeling of incompleteness :/
But I still liked her writting ˆˆ

Hmm... I think she passes unnoticed because she is so "quiet", her art is simple and emotions flow without any major problems...(Before I downloaded, I knew I had already read something by her, saw the title I had read, but still couldn't remember the story ˆˆ)

Oh yes! That is one of the most beautiful by her, I was going to put in the post, but gave up, but I should have! Should have!

Oh, really? Then I'm not the only one who thought that!

Yeah... maybe it's because of that? However, I've read I-don't-know-where that she works in Studio Ghibli ò__ò I guess if it's true.

Ahaha I understand you sometimes I also am too tired to add other manga!
