Sorry I'm only commenting now but I just read this. I love it! You write incredibly good dialogue and the story flows so effortlessly. I felt sorry for Carrie but I guess Mike was right. I love the way you write Dave, it's very him, like when he wanted to go after Carrie but didn't want to be disrespectful towards the other guys.

This part made me laugh:

but if he drove himself then what was stopping Mike from highjacking the van and ramming into David’s rental?
