Grandpa passed away

My Grandpa Warrington pass away in his sleep yesterday. He was 85, retired pilot in WWII. It's tough because I've always went to Yakima for the holidays and saw him since I could remember, this years' holidays are going to be missing a special person. He was a very significant man in my life

Holidays are always the hardest and it will hurt. But remember the good times and cherish those. When my grandma died, I wrote a list for my family. I put each of their names and next to wrote a quality that I liked about them, something that made them special. I then made a copy of the list and gave it to every single one of my relatives. I have a big family, so that meant 30 or so people. But maybe you can do something simular.

I'm sorry for you loss. It sounds like you had a great relationship with your grandfather which will always stay with you.
