Seriously though...........

I think I should be a Morning Radio DJ. I know how to stir people up and start debates. People say I am very opinionated and outspoken, therefore I think that is my calling. My political views are obviously conservative, however when it comes to life in general I am very liberal, so I can see both sides of any situation, but will be glad to ( Read more... )

I'm around hip hop a lot and have been before ppl started following rappers like Master P but in general I hate catchphrases/uninspiring repetitve BS and that's what it has become mostly. When it comes down to wrestling, I got tired of The Rock and John Cena very easily, with music: Lil Jon is annoying as hell and ppl with cable and tried to be cool around their friends and co-workers during lunch break killed damn near all of Chappelles jokes before I saw them so in the end fuck them and I could shit on any and everyones music and entertainment choices as well since it's that easy on the outside looking in but sometimes even when you're fairly openminded there's no way around to listening to certain things.

BTW as a guy I think wearing extra medium shirts (like the shit at A&F or whatever metrosexual casual store around in a mall near you) where the sleeves look like they touch the collars and when you do the "raise test" ppl can see you nipples is a lot worse than wearing any type of sports jersey in public (except maybe soccer since those only look good on women).

You must mean the "Sedrick Strong Shirt". I am gonna have to tend to agree with you on that one. The extra medium Abercrombie and Fitch Shirts are pretty gay.

Dont get me wrong, I used to actually like hip hop. I really got into 2pac, unfortunately it was after he died. That was good shit. He was just great with words, and you couldnt deny that. That is what makes an artist. Same with DMX, his first album is EASILY one of my top 3 favorite albums of all time. Jay-Z was good in 98-00, then again on the black album.

I dont know any of the underground rap, but the Mainstream Shit is just HORRIBLE. Mike Jones is probably some of the worst stuff ever. I can understand "Branding" your music by saying your name, but not every fucking other word, its a bit of OVERKILL. Same with Little John. I can handle Trick Daddy's stuff. In fact BAnks was playing that as we were driving to J'ville last week, and I pretty much liked the album. I think it was the latest one.

That's the thing though, no matter what music or entertainment venture it is you can tell who is gonna be around in 5-10 yrs. making albums or whatever and who is gonna be on some "Where are they now?" shit and find their CDs in the bargain bin at CD Warehouse because they didn't have "it" and got ex played and fazed out....kinda like The Ultimate Warrior in the WWF.

And as far as mainstream rappers go, only one that catches my interest at the present moment is T.I., The Game and Young Jeezy (minus the repetitive adlibs). I don't even buy store albums anymore like I used back in like 95-96 cause the shit is blah and I'm supposed to like hiphop because I rap but everyone is cloning each other nowadays.

It's funny that you won't listen to Kanye, but you hate the lyrics in current rap music. He is one of the more consistantly entertaining guys on the mic. Your loss, sucka!

Oh yeah, I agree with all those etiquette tips. I'll add one more...

-YOU DONT DO FUCKING CURLS ON THE POWER RACK! IM TRYING TO DO SOME SQUATS YOU SON OF A WHORE!!!

Your rants are funny. I *am* a fan of kanye and hip hop in general, although not of hearing the name mike jones (his flows themselves are fine, but yeah the repetition sucks)-- most of the good hip hop is not the stuff on tv and radio.. try qn5 or daybyday, and you may be pleasantly surprised. Your work-out tips are funny! Yeah I definitely would not approach a random guy if he was "in the zone"-- I tend to be pretty quiet and keep to myself in the work-out room.
