The beach past Serenity Cove - Wednesday after lunch
After a nice handwavey lunch, Molly had convinced Cameron to go on a walk along the beach with her, despite the cold, instead of heading back to the school right away. They'd talked about what had been going on lately, but had both mutually steered clear of talking about Bel. Molly could tell something was bothering him though and hoped that a walk would give him more privacy to talk if he needed to.
For a while, they walked in silence, just enjoying (or not, in Molly's case) the crisp afternoon. Molly stayed just a little bit behind Cam as they walked so that she could watch him. Finally, when Cam seemed to relax just a little, Molly spoke.
"I heard about Bel," she said quietly, coming up even with him and watching for his reaction. "I know he's a friend of yours. Are you okay?"
