I am listening to "A perfect Union: Dolley Madison and the Creation of the American Nation" on CD, and they are talking about the election of 1808. Some Federalist and oponent Republican Newspapers made claims that Dolley was whored out to foreign Ambassadors, which is a ridiculous lie. I am listening to David McCullough's Biography of John Adams by David McCullough. As per usual, there is a great deal of emphasis on his relationship of his wife and their correspondance. As I listen to their letters read, it sounds ideal. It sounds like the perfect relationship, perfect love. It would be nice to find that some day.

The other day I was at my brother's while he stained his deck. While sitting, a bird pooped on my face. It hit my sunglasses and slid down my right cheek. My brother laughed, really hard.

Low is playing in Birmingham on June 18th. This is uber-exciting, when I got "Things We Lost in the Fire" I listened to it for a week straight, could not turn it off, partially because I was so depressed the first week of december that i could not be bothered to change it on itunes but nonetheless great album. This song one of their best...

This morning on my way in the door of the law firm i held the door open for the person behind me, they said thank-you and I said thank you back. I felt very foolish, I must have been thinking about the sweet muffin in my back pack...

I was just taking a pee at work and I am standing at the urinal, peeing, and a lawyer walks up to the adjacent urinal. Ok, I have never met this lawyer before, but he decides to strike up a convo. As the result of my incredibly boring internship, I have been getting progressivley more depressed as the first of the six weeks nears an end. But today after finishing my lunch, I said "no more."
