Molly was going over the cheer routine again just to make sure she hadn't overlooked anything. She knew she hadn't, but it gave her something to do other than worry about Karal meeting one of her friends from home this weekend. She kind of hoped that it was Karolina who was coming since she would be least likely to try and intimidate him. Chase

Karal had spent a long time watching the spot where the portal had been before finally sighing and turning back to the dorms.

Events were in motion and it was too late to change his mind. But whatever happened now, it had been his choice, so he wasn't going to fret. Instead, he was going to go and see Molly.

As was his habit, he tapped lightly on the door, hoping she was there.

Molly recognized the tap and stood up to go open the door. "Hello!" she said with a big smile when she saw that it was indeed Karal.

Her smile drew an answering one from him. "Good evening, Molly," he said, being deliberately formal, though his eyes were twinkling. "Do you think you could spare some time to keep me company this evening?"

His formality made her eyebrows go up, but his eyes made her smirk. "I think I can help you with that, yes," she said and stood back to let him in.
