Yeah...I know how you feel about worrying about money for Emory. Trust me, it'll be ok. You may have to take out some loans like a lot of my friends did, but hey, you may have to take out loans for med school anyway and by the time you're a doctor and making six figures you can pay them off. :D
hey...remember me? i saw you on the emory community and thought i would say hi, and that im glad you got your roomate situation all worked out. my roomates are turning out to be kind of...odd. haha. well if you want to talk sometime, im game.
Hey! Of course I remember you. I'm sorry your roommate thing isn't working out like you thought it would.... What happened? Where are you staying too? I'm in Trimble.
And btw I would definetly love to talk and stuff, hehe- My e-mail is acoker2@learnlink.emory.edu, drop me a line sometime, hehe. =)
Hi from an Emory AlumjmfunnyfaceJuly 30 2004, 19:11:46 UTC
Hey! I saw your post over at the emory university community. I graduated from Emory in 2003, and really miss it. Emory's quite an experience!! I was an NBB major for like two years, but switched to Biology and Russian.
About the financial situation-If you need to get student loans, citiassist loans rock, they're great after you graduate about working with you to get on a payment scale (something I know appreciate a year after graduation), and really stay on top of *all* of your financial aid. Emory is horrible with screwing up financial aid (there was even an article in the paper about all their screw ups). Keep track of all of your paperwork, keep everything they give you because trust me you'll need it to show them when they inevitably screw something up.
Good luck for the fall. I hope you love Emory. If you need any advice about classes or professors, I'd be happy to help!
