Just had a telephone interview for job that I would quite like and think I totally f****ed it up. First of all I'm not good on the phone (I think the years of my mother shouting at us if we used the phone for more than 30 seconds doesn't help

I'm sure it will be fine - I've held loads of phone interviews over the last couple of weeks and people never come across the same as they are in real life. :) it's just the nature of the thing, really.

If you have any more phone interviews though, don't forget you can cheat and have loads of stuff written out in front of you. I use a basic script when I hold phone interviews, and it really works. Though I'm sure you thought of that already :)

I had loads of notes in front of me which did help after the intial couple of questions that I hadn't prepared answers for. Mad at the first question of describing what know about the company as I loads written down but not sure it came across.

Phone interviews are like that. Everyone else having a phone interview probably found it just as odd as you did, and said just as many 'ums'. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :)

I thought I'd trashed the interview for my new job. I was cheaky but they still asked me back for a second interview. I REALLY thought I'd trashed the second interview with the FD and HRD, but no - they actually offered me the job!

..I sit typing this at the end of day 3 while sitting at my new desk ;)
