Tim went into hospital this afternoon, doctor checked him out and he's all set to have his operation tomorrow. He's apparently third on the list to go into surgery so should be going in some time tomorrow morning ( Read more... )

Yes think he probably would. It's really dull on the little ward his on. He won't need it tomorrow as he'll be happy with morphine. But may stop him getting bored on Wednesday and Thursday (should be out on Friday fingers crossed).

I was hoping to come visit soon, but Thursday might be a bit tricky as I'm off to Edinburgh on Friday. If he's going to be quite out of it tomorrow I shall aim to pop up Wednesday (if that sounds okay).

Yes - What time are you thinking of going ? I know that sarah and Julie are planning to get there for 7. (although you can have up to 3 visitors at one time so it wouldn't matter if you clash). He'll be very pleased to see you :)

It'll have to be after work (i finish at 5:30). I was going to give orangesquidcat a shout to see if she wants a lift to pop down and see him too. I can try to aim for 6-7ish, it seems that way he'll have a steady stream of folk for most of the visiting hours.

Yes thats fine. Are you planning to go during the day ? There are a couple of people who have mentioned an evening visit but I think it will be quiet during the day. I know he'll be glad to see you both.
