It finally happened. I showed up at Brunchma and was the the only person there. No "guests", no idlers. Never really thought I'd see it.

Then Sergei showed up, selling himself out of sheer wickedness, only there was just me to sell to and I was broke.

I had that happen on Sunday morning a few years ago. I wanted to post a topic in every forum just to have my name all over the main page.

Instead I went to IRC and changed virtual clothes.

Yeah--occasionally I want to just leave that place behind, as most folks have moved over here where keeping up with things isn't as laborious. The meager holdouts clinging tenaciously to what remains, who haven't at least tried to climb into the LJifeboat (or other similar ventures) are what keep me returning periodically.

One of these days, though, those holdouts will jump ship as well, and for all intents and purposes the board will be a fond memory.
