Internet Woes

Well, the mister has decided to fire our internet/cable/phone provided for not coming up with a permanent solution to our internet connectivity problem. This means that probably starting this afternoon I will be out of touch with, well, everything. This makes me both angry (not with the mister but with AT&T) and sad. I'll miss you all

With the connectivity issues I've been reading a lot more books and playing television catch up but I use the internet every day for research and contact with family and friends. It's going to be hard to be cut off.

We live in central Austin, so there are several internet providers to choose from. After being burned so hard (three technicians in a month and a flat out refusal to hard wire our internet and second television so they work consistently), we're actually going to have to research them all. Without internet...this should be interesting.

This is such a first world problem I can't even believe it's making me so upset. It's compounded by not having access to listen to bands, RSVP for parties, contact friends during our big music festival (SXSW) this week.

I'll miss you all, too.
