Computer Woes

Fail.
So far this weekend has been a bit fail. We planned to see a singer/songwriter yesterday and the mister didn't get home until the guy was ten minutes into his set. We ended up eating and drinking in instead. Why is it that when one component of a plan falls through I don't get dinner out, too ( Read more... ) -
Unaccomodating Accomodations
I don't know what it is about my husband and me but hotel desk clerks take one look at us and give us that room that would have picky guests balking: traffic noise, fiddly air conditioner, across from the elevator/ice machine/pool/deaf guest with television blasting into the wee hours ( Read more... ) -

Two tickets to the Antiques Roadshow taping this morning just fell into my lap and I'm sitting here wondering if I want to go or not. Archive of Our Own
Is anyone else having trouble with Archive of Our Own? Some times stories won't load at all and if they do I can't post a comment. I'm not sure if this is because of my wonky internet connection or not so I'm curious if anyone else if having trouble. -
SXSW 2014
It's only Day 4 of the music portion of South by Southwest and I'm already feeling a bit burned out. Great band after great band playing right up my pop alley and they all start to blend together. Thanks everyone, for you commiseration over my internet woes. The mister dragged his heels one day too long, so we're stuck with AT&T for 11 more months.
