we just got back from our rounds at the thrift stores and not really thinking about that note we got about them, passed our down stairs neighbors getting out of their car while we were trying to find a spot to park our car.

the table is there! i should post a photo of the kitchen table too. i dont remember if i ever did. but y'know, its matches with my new little table too, so it looks extra cute in here.

i LOVE that lamp! i spotted it out of the corner of my eye one day at Savers on our way out the door. i think i trampled some people to get it. it needs a new lampshade though, the one thats on it belongs to another lamp we aren't using at the moment, plus i think its too big. i was thinking rectangle, what do you think?

speaking of lampshades, while at thrift town the other day i found a really nice vintage sconce shade, but someone put it on a newer, bright, shiny, gold desk lamp. y'know, that gold lamp with the green glass shade that they never stopped making, the one that every grandma has at her house? it was one of those and it looked horrible on there and obviously didnt belong on it. i almost bought it, but because the base of the lamp was like new, they wanted $10 for it. and that was out of my price range ( ... )
