Who was he to say no to Dorian Gray, of all people? In truth, Alan was intrigued by the young man. Of course, he also enjoyed his company. He'd finally found someone interesting to discuss music with. So he did not refuse the letter -- and was currently on Dorian's doorstep, waiting to be let in.
He needn't wait long- a servant let him in before he'd been standing there two minutes, and guided him through the house into the main hall, before tipping his head and moving to get Dorian to inform him that his guest had arrived.
The man himself poked his head around the corner not far after that, sunny and charming as ever. He looked perfect- a healthy glow in his cheeks, soft hair falling and brushing against his perfect skin, his clothing well pressed and tailored to suit him perfectly.
"I could never refuse you, Dorian." Alan grinned back at him, simply happy to be in the presence of this beautiful, intriguing young man. He always was, no matter how recently he had seen the other.

"What did you want to show me?"

The smile from Alan made Dorian positively bloom, pleased that his friend seemed just as happy to see him as he'd ever been.
"I wanted to show you- I just got it yesterday, and it was just brought up..."
