Oh, how you love me. =). I feel the same man. A lot of people add me. I have at least 7 people add me a week, so now, I rarely add people when I want to add them because my list is so damn big. I already did a cut for people who don't update. But I can't just chuck away people who I find boring because I think it's mean. For the main people who I want to read their journal, I have to go through like, 40 updates until I can reach theirs [Including yours darling, don't worry ;)].
I don't even know why people add me. I know some people added me because they thought I was pretty but you know, add me for a better reason. :\.
I don't think it's become an issue where I'm added alot, yet. At first, I would ask people and it'd be like, okay. There. Now I've got their friends asking and at first I didn't want to be mean but they're boringgggg me to death.
You should really cut if it's that big, though. Be honest and it's not like they can't read your LJ, still.
Some people may feel offended because they do comment all the time. And they are really nice people, it's just that I don't really have an interest in someone's journal where they describe every movement of their daily life.
But hey, I cut about 15 today so that's good enough for me. It'll slowly go down.
I always hate deleting people because i feel mean, most of the people on my friends list have been there since forvever, and i kinda like to think i know about who's lifes im reading about. But then as you said, i dont think people are ever to bothered if i delete them :p
