I just want to say that I never thought I could ever like wing!fic, but this story made me love it. Also, I absolutly love the rulesverse.

Thanks so much! I assumed I didn't like wing!fic, till I wrote the first part of this - it was supposed to be crack but turned out to be lots of fun to think my way through. I guess like any trope, it's a question of finding someone who writes it in a way that works for you - so very pleased you enjoyed this!

So perfect! Gah I love this wingfic subverse of yours. I love how Giles gets turned on by the wings. I love his little bubble of possessiveness (which shows, among other things, how deep he and Faith have gone), the fine balance between not enough enthusiasm and too much emotion, Faith who's never been a missionary girl, the metaphorical Slayer power made manifest, Dawn who can turn herself into a portal at will... Everything.

YAY.
